Here in Indonesia, we never get enough horror stories. Stories like haunted house is everywhere in this country, and yes, it’s somewhat true. Here in Indonesia, there’s a limited time for a house to be “completely empty” before “something” start make a kingdom out of it, and believe me, it’s less than a month.
It’s more than 10 years, the house in front of my house left empty. Some religious man called himself “Habib” who own the house never let anyone buy or even rent it for any reason, and no one knows why. So, can you imagine what kind of kingdom “they” made in 10 years?
Me myself, ever played with “them” a couple times when i was a little kid. There’re time when i suddenly cried like a siren in the middle of a night out of nothing. The actual reason? I lose, on whatever kind of game i played with “them”. They tricked me, and i got angry, therefore i cried so loud.
Now we have a different subject, Bariqi.
As we always do, we gather at the terrace, sip on tea, chat and laugh. But Bariqi was just stop there and starting to stare at the empty house through our fence. “api, api” he said, means “fire” in bahasa. “uwa..” he’s 2 years old, can’t talk much yet, but i’m pretty sure that he said “dua”, means “two” in bahasa. It’s clear now, he saw what i saw back then, and so my sister did, pair of eyes on fire, red and angry.
“He” is still there.

artofstuttering asked: The key to holding your own word is saying only what needs to be said. Not promising anything of grandeur that will be difficult or even nearly impossible. Keep things simple, but close to your heart. We all have wishes that we want to fulfill with a promise, and you can work on those. Just promise one of those things one step at a time. If you want something done, start simple. And build further upon that. Promising things like "I will never let you down.", frankly, is impossible.
you, my friend, are awesome :’D

We went to a relative birthday party, not faraway from home, a place called Villa Cinere Mas. It held on a friggin big house with a pool on the backyard *_*
They have saxophone, grand piano and a fender precision bass played since morning. I had my fingers running on that sexy grand piano, playing River Flows in You by Yiruma once when people were not using it, and the sound was aweeesooooome! I need to buy one for real >:)
Luckily, Mike came. He’s the englishman from London who asked me to stay there for my graduate program. He lectured me when i said that my intention to go abroad gets south because my family’s short on money.
He insisted that i MUST go out, and that i don’t need lame education in indonesia. I’d fairly agree, but i have no shit, i can’t even get scholarship D:
But his words open my eyes once again, no pain, no gain. I need to study harder and work for the money myself.
Thanks Mike, next semester going to be my answer :)
